This position will be responsible for overseeing operations and success of the Rentals department. The manager will be the point of contact for inter-departmental communications, and report directly to the General Manager.&nbsp;

Responsibilities:

<li>Manage employees with a wide variety of ages, including high school and college students.</li>
<li>Manage employee scheduling, staffing, and job assignments to cover operational needs.</li>
<li>Accountable for retail transactions and cash drawers.</li>
<li>Manage rental boat accessories to ensure accurate inventory of water skis, tubes, tow ropes, etc. and verify they are not damaged and in good working order.</li>
<li>Manage internal and inter-departmental communications.</li>
<li>Work with boat registrations, including setting up booking grids and being responsible for 40+ new boat rentals.</li>
<li>Ensure confidentiality of customer information.</li>
<li>Communicate with the Service Department regarding rental boat damage.</li>
<li>Work with Sales manager to transition rental boats to the Sales Department at the end of rental season.</li>
<li>Support Sales department with boat show responsibilities, boat registrations, data entry, etc.</li>
<li>Other duties as needed.</li>

Qualifications:

<li>3 or more years managing employees with a wide variety of ages, including high school and college students, required.</li>
<li>3 or more years as a Customer Service manager, preferred.</li>
<li>3 years of experience in B2C sales and training sales teams, preferred.</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills.</li>
<li>Superior understanding of scheduling multiple shifts and people for a busy environment.</li>
<li>Complete understanding of Federal, State, and Youth labor laws.</li>

SCOPE OF WORK: Reporting to the Business Operations Officer, the Director of Campus Safety plans, develops, and directs all aspects of campus public safety to ensure the safety and security of all students, faculty, staff, and visitors; the protection of College property and facilities; the appropriate investigation of criminal activity reports and safety-related incidents; and the efficient and effective operation of the department in support of the College’s mission, vision, and values.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

<li>Directs all aspects of College Safety and Security operations including the supervision, training, scheduling, and evaluation of Campus Safety &amp; Security Officers and staff.</li>
<li>Works with all departments/constituents on campus, as needed, to ensure the safety and well-being of all, students, faculty, staff, and visitors.</li>

<li>Investigates occupational accidents or injuries to identify hazards and implements corrective actions in coordination with appropriate College departments, revising safety procedures as necessary to support compliance and risk reduction.</li>
<li>Oversees safety devices and warning systems, including fire panels, smoke and heat devices, pull stations, and sprinkler systems as well as security equipment, including card access systems, burglar alarms, video cameras and video monitors in campus buildings and on campus grounds, conducts campus wide fire drills;</li>
<li>Maintains key and ID systems and records for the college; leads and trains Safety &amp; Security Officers for the issuance of all keys/IDs to students, faculty, and staff.</li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university with a major study in the field of criminal justice, law enforcement, public administration, or a related field of study. Each additional year of formal education may be substituted for one year of work experience.
Experience: Five (5) years of experience in the field of criminal justice, law enforcement, public administration, or a related field, with at least three (3) years of experience supervising police, security, correctional staff and/or operations. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
License/Certification: Valid New Hampshire Driver’s License. CPR/AED and basic first aid certification. National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification.
