Program Development, Implementation, and Supervision • Oversees proper record-keeping and weekly reporting, including activities and events conducted in themembership/finance system. Will provide data for input to a Center Director or other applicable staff. • Facilitates open and effective, professional verbal and written communication with families, staff, and children. • Supervises classroom staff, students, and volunteers; provides regular feedback about job performance. • Supports volunteers, practicum students, and staff through modeling techniques and strategies that connect theory to practice. • May lead planning meetings with the teaching team. • May increase the visibility of Club programs via daily schedule postings, announcements of upcoming events through different social media channels, family emails, etc. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements •Must be an associate teacher qualified before November 6, 2017, have a minimum of 9 credits in related coursework or have a minimum of 1000 hours of supervised child care experience in a licensed child care program, and knowledge of child growth and development obtained through one of the following: a. Completion of a high school level 2-year career and technical education course in teacher education; b. A 3-credit college course in child or human growth and development; c. Thirty hours of training in child growth and development, granted by an accredited college or university, an authorized provider of the International Association for Continuing Education and Training, or obtained through documented life experience, including experience with the same age children, the associate teacher supervises, such as a family child care provider, service as a foster parent, work as a school teacher, work as a camp counselor and experience as a group leader for children in sports or other activities, such as scouts or little league, or closely related experience. 
•Must be 18 years of age or older. •Knowledge of current methods, principles, and techniques of teaching. •Knowledge of curriculum development and application. •Ability to plan and implement quality programs; proven track record of creative and artistic teaching strategies. •Ability to form developmentally appropriate relationships with children and promote positive behavior. •Ability to motivate members and manage behavior problems with patience. •Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment. •Ability to communicate with staff, families, and community members in a variety of methods. •Must be willing to maintain the Club dress code appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities. •Must be willing to adapt to different learning styles. •Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certifications per Bureau of Childcare licensing requirements. •May be required to drive the Club van/short bus periodically. •Must possess a safe driving record and submit a copy of such record to either the Operations Director or human resources department. •Required to assist in cleaning and organizing the Club. •Must maintain confidentiality. •Must be willing to travel between locations when requested. The Program Specialist role directs and manages overall daily operations of a site/program with the primary concern for a comprehensive, outcome-driven program and service delivery. This is a full-time 35-hour plus-per-week, non-exempt position. Duties 
Leadership

 Requirements A program specialist in a school-age program shall be at least 20 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, including but not limited to a General Equivalency Diploma (GED), a High School Equivalency Test (HiSet), or a Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), and have at least one of the following: (1) Written documentation from or on file with the department that she or he was qualified and employed as a site director in a school-age program on or before the effective date of these rules in 2022; (2) A minimum of an associate’s degree in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, awarded by an accredited college or university; (3) Certification of successful completion of training as a recreation director plus 1000 hours of experience working with children in a licensed child care program, recreation program, or a public or private elementary school; (4) A total of 12 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other field of study focused on children, from an accredited college plus 1000 hours of experience working with children; (5) Current certification as an educator by the Department of Education; or (6) Experience working with children totaling 2000 hours and: a. Current certification as a para II educator by the Department of Education; or b. Both of the following: 1. Documentation of enrollment in a course for at least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation, or other fields of study focused on children, through an accredited college or university and a written plan on file for completion of at least 3 additional credits as specified; and 
2. Within 12 months of the date the individual begins working as a site director, documentation of successful completion of a total of at least 6 credits as specified in b.1. shall be on file for review by the department.

Spaulding Academy &amp; Family Services provides a place of healing and growth, with a focus on the whole child. Our approach is student centered and trauma informed with special emphasis on social and emotional learning through programs such as Choose Love. Our classrooms are small, with 8 to 10 students and a variety of ages in a non-traditional learning environment. Ours is a professional learning community, collaborative and open, with specific emphasis on staff development and growth in an environment focused on the value of each individual’s strengths, skills and experiences.
Our Academic team has&nbsp;Paraeducator&nbsp;opportunities available in our year-round program. Our students range from ages 4 to 21. Classrooms are small with manager support, peer support, as well as wrap around services such as OT, PT and SLP’s. Each person is engaged in contributing toward our goal of providing a strong foundation to support our students, who face a variety of challenges, to achieve the most successful outcomes. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, as well as a Monday through Friday (7am to 3pm) schedule.
Requirements for the Paraeducator role includes:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of direct experience as a Paraeducator l, or two years of college for a Paraeducator 2</li>
<li>NH Paraeducator certification is preferred, but we will assist you in achieving the certification within 3 months of employment</li>
<li>Special education experience is not required, but is very beneficial</li>
<li>Applicants must be 21 years of age</li>
</ul>
Knowledge and skills:
<ul>
<li>Must have the ability and desire to teach special education students using learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth</li>
<li>Ability to teach multi-age, multi-grade, multi-subject.</li>
<li>Must be creative, participative and have excellent communication and customer service skills</li>
</ul>
