InnoTECH Staffing is looking to hire a fulltime / permanent Automation Controls Engineer for a client in Southern New Hampshire. 
This requires being onsite 5 days a week.
!!!! MUST BE A US Citizen or Greencard Holder !!!!!
The Product Development Automation Controls Engineer will work as member of the company's innovative product design teams to specify, engineer, integrate, validate and support automated manufacturing equipment for the mass production of the company's innovations. 
<ul>
<li>Specify, design and manage control and data acquisition systems including electrical, pneumatic, communication and data storage functions, for new and existing production equipment</li>
<li>Interact daily with large automation equipment integrators including progress tracking and technical and program issues are quickly resolved</li>
<li>Develop robust cutting-edge manufacturing techniques for high-volume use</li>
<li>Generate and maintain validation lifecycle documentation</li>
<li>Effectively and proactively identify root-causes of observed issues or control systems risks, then complete robust, sustained corrective actions</li>
<li>Utilize machine data and database elements to develop visible process performance tools for engineering and operations daily process monitoring</li>
<li>Maintain frequent and regular contact with operations, engineering and quality departments to understand and address observed or perceived issues with equipment, systems and reporting</li>
</ul>
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or equivalent experience</li>
<li>5 years of experience with PLC programming, vision systems, and controls troubleshooting in a highly regulated medical manufacturing environment preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of and ability to use RS232, Ethernet/IP, and remote I/O communications protocols</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency with Keyence, Cognex, Teledyne, or similar vision systems</li>
<li>Understanding of and/or ability to use JAVA, Python, SQL and/or Visual Basic</li>
<li>Understanding and ability to use Excel, Word, Access, and all related computer software for machine design, programming, backup, and monitoring</li>
<li>Experience with various sensor technologies including but not limited to 0-20ma, 4-20ma, 0-5VDC, and 0-10VDC analog signals</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities daily</li>
</ul>
Compensation includes base salary up to around $150K (maybe a little more), bonus and full benefits package.

Automation Controls Engineer - automated manufacturing equipment

Job Description
<ul>
<li>Maintain Clean Room integrity by using proper attire and adherence to Clean Room environment practices and procedures as applicable.</li>
<li>Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures.</li>
<li>
Utilize small hand tools (both manual and electric), manual presses, assembly fixtures, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
</li>
<li>
Utilize documentation such as Bill of Materials, product flow charts, work orders, check sheets, visual aids, production reports and assembly drawings to assemble product and record results.
</li>
<li>
May perform soldering, fabricating, crimping, mechanical assembly, sealing, ultra-sonic welding, bonding and gluing with adhesives, Epoxy or RTV.
</li>
<li>
Kitting assemblies using a parts list, scanner and inventory software as required.
</li>
<li>
Participates in any routine start up or end of day equipment inspections or verifications.
</li>
<li>
Inspects work throughout the assembly process and communicates any quality or operational issues to appropriate leader.
</li>
<li>
Maintain neat, orderly and clean work area to ensure efficiency and no safety hazards. Participate in safety programs, meetings, and trainings as required. Bring safety concerns to the attention of management.

<li>
Participate in continuous improvement activities as part of a cross-functional team.
</li>
<li>
Meet all quality, quantity and good manufacturing practices to satisfy customer and Regulatory Affairs requirements. Read and/or understand operating procedures for specific products where training has been completed.

Show constant attention to detail, and immediately inform supervisor of anything out of the ordinary, or anything which does not conform to the approved process sheets.
</li>
<li>
Work with Engineers and line leads to resolve issues and correct procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.

<li>
Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor (e.g. timecards), and special projects.
</li>
<li>
Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, ISO, QSR, and FDA regulations.
