<li>Visually inspects, tests, and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions. As well as dismantles machine parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems.</li>
<li>Installs new or repaired parts; clean and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, belts, and other parts of machinery.</li>
<li>Staying organized by scheduling repairs and PM’s in similar locations on the same day, as time and location permits. Record keeping and reporting of work orders, parts, supplies ordering, and a daily agenda.</li>
<li>Submits daily, work orders, daily agenda/timecards, parts orders, and all required paperwork. Treats company equipment (i.e. vehicle, tools, phone, tablet, credit card, and parts) as if they were his/her own and follows PM’s guidelines on company provided vehicle. </li>

The position will be located in Nashua, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
This role supports the Automation Engineering group. Job functions will include assisting in writing scope of work documents, designing, processing and analysis of testing results, and deploying tooling and automation. Candidates will work closely with the Automation Engineering group to support the development, fabrication, and build of prototypes.

What you'll do:

<li>Design, simulation, characterization, and application of highspeed electrical connectors, backplane systems and cable-based interconnect.</li>
<li>Circuit and PCB layout, EM understanding, and signal integrity issues in PCB layout</li>
<li>Testing of highspeed interconnect products using VNA or TDR equipment and other general laboratory functions</li>
<li>Helping customers solving their highspeed data transmission problems</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal Sales Engineers on strategies for products at existing and new accounts</li>
</ul>

QUALIFICATIONS: 
A strong candidate will have completed their sophomore or junior year in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
<ul>
<li>Experience with signal integrity and simulation/analysis tools such as Ansys HFSS and Designer, CST Microwave, HSPICE, MatLab, and ADS is a plus but not required</li>
<li>Frequency-domain and time-domain component and circuit characterization including understanding of test and calibration methods</li>
</ul>
