Job DescriptionEngineering CAD Technicians support Mechanical Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Operations. Engineering CAD technicians work closely with other Engineers and Program Managers to ensure Wilcox stays on the leading edge of technology and innovation while ensuring the team is delivering a product that our customer can trust his/her life with. Roles &amp; Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Prepares component and system level 3D CAD-based models and drawings based on design inputs from requirements and engineering direction.</li>
<li>Generates and documents Bill of Materials for assemblies.</li>
<li>Assists in the preparation of prototypes and models for mechanical systems and components.</li>
<li>Supports 3D printing efforts for engineering prototypes, parts and tooling.</li>
<li>Works with other engineering disciplines to integrate mechanical designs into multi-disciplinary systems.</li>
<li>Helps identify potential design problems and works with engineering to determine possible solutions.</li>
<li>Conducts hands-on testing in laboratory or field settings to evaluate the performance, durability, and functionality of mechanical systems.</li>
<li>Maintains organized records of design changes and/or testing results for future reference and traceability.</li>
<li>Supports other related documentation requests.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications &amp; Requirements Education &amp; Experience:
<ul>
<li>2+ years of 3D CAD experience.</li>
</ul>
Required Skills/Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Proficient in the use of SolidWorks to create parts, assemblies and drawings.</li>
<li>Ability to work with other engineering disciplines to create requested CAD models.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with prototype fabrication and testing.</li>
<li>Strong organization skills and ability to work in a high paced project environment.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.</li>
<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
<ul>
<li>Associates degree in Technical Drawing or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.</li>
<li>3D CAD certification, especially in SolidWorks software.</li>
<li>5+ years of 3D CAD experience.</li>
<li>Understanding of GD&amp;T.</li>
<li>Problem solving and analytical skills.</li>
<li>Understanding of product development process from concept to finalized designs.</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally, for handling parts and prototypes.</li>
<li>Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.</li>
<li>Ability to perform physical tests and handle tools/equipment used for prototyping.</li>
<li>Regular on-site attendance is a necessary function of this position.&nbsp; </li>

Engineering CAD Technician

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Job DescriptionDescription:
Sullivan Tire, an Employee-Owned company, has an opportunity for a Field Service Technician within our LiftWorks team. The Field Service Technician installs and maintain lifts and other shop equipment while delivering the highest quality and customer satisfaction. This position includes travel to sites all over New England with occasional overnight stays required.
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Properly install and service lifts and other shop equipment by following best practice standards and procedures.</li>
<li>Perform periodic qualified lift inspections and prepare estimates for repairs.</li>
<li>Operate equipment under supervision, including, but not limited to, an excavator and skid steer.</li>
<li>Manage job sites not requiring the use of heavy equipment. May direct the work of other Lift Technicians depending on the job site.</li>
<li>Complete job-related administrative tasks such as customer billing and company purchases of equipment.</li>
<li>Responsible for identifying additional opportunities for services by providing information on the features, benefits, and pricing of lift inspections.</li>
<li>Maintain excellent customer relations.</li>
<li>Assume other responsibilities as needed.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
Education/Experience: 
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Work on ladders and lifts that can be up to 25 ft. high. </li>
<li>A valid Driver's License.</li>
<li>Must meet DOT compliance requirements. </li>
<li>Ability to drive vehicles over 10,000 GVW.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications and Skills:
<ul>
<li>Customer service focus </li>
<li>Proficient in power tools, jackhammers, pipe threaders, and concrete saw operation</li>
<li>Basic understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry</li>
<li>Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Team player who can also work independently.</li>
<li>Strong Mechanical and electrical aptitude a plus.</li>
<li>Hydraulic license and Lift Inspector Certification training will be provided.</li>
