Position Summary
The Engineering Manager reports to the Plant Leader and is responsible for managing, planning, directing, and coordinating the Manufacturing and Product Development engineering departments. <li>Leadership, management and project management skills</li>
<li>Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite &amp; email</li>
<li>Excellent communication, time management, interpersonal &amp; organizational skills</li>
<li>Capability of interpreting blueprints is a plus</li>
<li>Able to lift 50 lbs. &amp; climb up &amp; down ladders to minimum heights of 25 feet</li>
<li>Valid Driver’s License</li>
<li>Able to work weekends and/or holidays, out of town travel and overtime - as needed</li>

This role goes far beyond basic helpdesk tasks one day you might be installing an operating system, the next you're drilling through walls and running structured cabling across entire buildings, or terminating a 66-block. <ul>
<li>Perform a wide range of technical tasks including but not limited to:
<ul>
<li>OS installations, hardware diagnostics, and software setup</li>
<li>Structured cabling (including drilling, running, and dressing cables)</li>
<li>Telecom work (punch-downs, demarc extensions, etc.)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Work independently across various environments: retail, medical, restaurant, and corporate</li>
<li>Maintain a high standard of professionalism with clients</li>
<li>Be on call and ready to respond to service requests within your territory</li>
</ul>
Preferred Skills &amp; Experience 
<ul>
<li>PC and printer troubleshooting experience (a strong plus)</li>
<li>At least 1 year of I.T. or Telecom experience, and one of the following:
<ul>
<li>A+ Certification</li>
<li>Network+ Certification</li>
<li>OR 5+ years verifiable field experience in I.T./Telecom</li>
</ul>

</ul>
Required Equipment &amp; Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Reliable personal vehicle (Public transportation not accepted)</li>
<li>Valid drivers license</li>
<li>Must have a standard set of tools for basic I.T. and networking tasks (e.g., screwdrivers, cable testers, crimpers).</li>
<li>Laptop with Ethernet port</li>
<li>Smartphone with mobile hotspot</li>
<li>Ability to accept job assignments based on your availability; being on-call 24/7 is a strong advantage.</li>
<li>Punctual, courteous, and presentable</li>
