The scheduler will provide assistance and technical guidance to engineers/architects exercising construction oversight and design management of capital improvements projects. Scope of projects typically is of a complex nature ranging from comprehensive repairs to unique, multi-million-dollar state-of-the-art construction. It is typical for the Scheduler to have some level of engagement with inter-related construction projects associated with a high-visibility Program Initiatives. Project delivery methods include both design-bid/build or design build.
Major Responsibilities and Required Knowledge or Skills
<ul>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and, when requested, independently develop and provide technical recommendations/ solutions regarding scheduling issues and time impacts on complex problems encountered during the administration of the construction contracts.</li>
<li>Routinely communicate and coordinate with other technical and non-technical Navy personnel within the Facilities Engineering Command (FEC) and the various Field Offices.</li>

This CET position should be able/willing to support second shift operations. Working hours for the second shift shall begin no earlier than 3:30 PM and no later than 6:30 PM. Approved second shift hours will receive a shift differential of approximately 7%
Major Responsibilities and Required Knowledge or Skills
<ul>
<li>Provide overall coordination of the construction quality management program for assigned projects.</li>
<li>In conjunction with the Construction Manager (CM), review and provide recommendations toward approval of contractor quality control plan.</li>
<li>Attend selective quality control, preparatory and initial meetings, and monitor three-phase checklists for accuracy and thoroughness.</li>
<li>Provide relevant remarks on Government Quality Assurance (QA) reports (or in identified section of Contractor’s Quality Control (QC) reports), particularly on critical, definable features of work included.</li>

<li>Ensure construction contractor is conducting monthly site safety self-evaluations and submitting the information with the pay vouchers/invoices; perform worksite safety assessments, as needed.</li>
<li>Take appropriate, timely action to ensure construction contractor compliance of safety and health requirements, including leading safety stand-downs, as required, and recommending dismissal of key construction contractor staff from the project due to non-performance or recurring violations.</li>
<li>Ensure reporting of contractor significant incidences/near misses with a focus that corrective actions have been taken. Perform cursory review/QA of Contractor’s Significant Incidence Reports (CSIRs) and OSHA Form 300 (Contractor’s Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses). Provide additional support (as needed) in mishap investigations where property damage is &gt;$500,000, injury and/or occupation injury results in fatality or permanent partial/total disability, or three or more personnel are hospitalized for inpatient care because of a single mishap.</li>
<li>Support extensive contact with key construction contractor representatives to promote an atmosphere of partnering and cooperation and to quickly resolve problems and maintain construction schedule.</li>
<li>Coordinating temporary utility and communication hook-ups for contractor, coordinating utility outages and road closures.</li>

As necessary (particularly when a contractor is falling behind schedule), participate in the bi-weekly look ahead meetings with the construction contractor to review project scheduling problems or concerns.</li>

Hourly Rate: $20 - $22 per hour, plus stipend for travel!
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Ability to perform job specific instruction provided by Superintendents, Blasting Supervisor or Drill Operators.</li>
<li>Individuals must be safety-minded and able to work well in varying weather environments.</li>
<li>Out of town travel and overtime may be required.</li>
<li>Perform daily maintenance activities required for safe, efficient operation of assigned equipment</li>
<li>Adhere to Company Safety Policies and Procedures</li>
<li>Ability to learn drill patterns and terminology then execute drill pattern and layout as established by the Blaster Foreman</li>
<li>Inventory accessories, understand cost of accessories, maintenance drill accessories</li>
<li>Communicate problems and terrain conditions to the Blaster/Foreman</li>
<li>Understand the Field Accounting system and accurately complete and submit timely paperwork: drill reports, hole sheets, and a signed timecard</li>
<li>Physical agility</li>
<li>Coordinate Supplies with Blaster</li>
<li>Carry all tools and Supplies</li>
<li>Participate in meetings as needed: Foreman's, Safety, Job Specific, and Daily Heads-Up</li>
<li>Complete Driller I training within designated period</li>
<li>Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining a sense of urgency</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

About You
Qualifications
Equipment operating experience is helpful (earth moving construction equipment, farm equipment, timber harvesting equipment, etc.) Valid Driver's License with own transportation Experience as construction laborer Must hold a high level of common sense relative to equipment and machinery operation Mechanical aptitude based on past experience around equipment, motors, hydraulic, electrical systems, desired Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen Must successfully complete a background screening for ATF
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform essential functions of the position Ability to lift 50 – 100 lbs., 30 – 40% of the time Work on uneven and loose surfaces in varying weather conditions Stooping and bending 30-40% of the time Physical agility

CTR Group is seeking 7 SHIPYARD LABORERS for Kittery, ME Naval Shipyard. A contract position for 1 Year: from May 1, 2025 through April 31, 2026.
PAY RATES: $22 per Hour
Seeking local candidates only.
SUMMARY:
Physically employees will need to work in confined spaces and have the ability to navigate the internal sections of the tanks. This position will be utilized for support of the blast and paint crew in addition to reclamation of abrasive blast media.
REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>This is an entry level position and does not require previous submarine experience.</li>
<li>No security clearance required. Will be issued a green badge.</li>
<li>Need to have a clean background check to get a DBIDS credential.</li>
<li>Need to work in confined spaces and be trained as such.</li>
<li>Tradesmen/ladies will be required to possess OSHA 10.</li>
<li>All personnel shall be citizens of the Unites States of America.</li>
