Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Inspect, repair, or overhaul buses, trucks, and heavy equipment.</li>
<li>Test drive and Inspect vehicles,</li>
<li>Diagnose malfunctions; consult with customers on diagnosis.</li>
<li>Read and interpret diagnostic test results.</li>
<li>Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists</li>
<li>Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, etc.</li>
<li>Do routine maintenance, oil changes, battery check, lubricating equipment and parts.</li>
<li>Adjust and align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and attach system components.</li>
<li>Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, mechanical or electrical equipment.</li>
<li>Test-drive vehicles to ensure that they run correctly after repair.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
 
Requirements - Diesel Technician
<ul>
<li>Certificate from Technical or Trade School</li>
<li>1- 3 Years Technician Experience</li>
<li>Current Valid Driver’s License</li>
<li>CDL and DOT health card preferred</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Physical Demands are made on Constant Basis During the Work Day:</li>
<li>Requires ability to stand, Walk, Sit, Bend, Kneel, Crouch</li>
<li>Requires reaching with hands and arms, pull lift and twist</li>
<li>Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders</li>
<li>Position Requires Frequently Moving Equipment / Parts Weighing up to 50 Pounds.</li>
