!!!$750 SIGN ON BONUS!!! $17.00-$19.00/Hour - Part-time, flexible hours - 20 hours/week

Monadnock Developmental Services is seeking a qualified applicant for a Part Time DSP position in the Bennington area. 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.

Direct Support Professionals responsibilities:

• Provide transportation for all community outings, day support, and services
• Support and supervise all community outings and events
• Assist in the development of all daily activities and encourage client to increase independence
• Assist with minimal job support at a local fitness center
• Implement all the client's goals
• Notify the service coordinator of any significant changes regarding the client's health
• Comply with all state certification regulations
• Support the client to build and maintain relationships
• Aid in the removal of barriers preventing a person with a disability to reach their goals

Position requirements:

• Ability to provide prompts, supports, physical and verbal cueing as needed
• Willingness to transport the client to necessary locations for their goals
• Understanding and adherence to state certification regulations
• Ability to work collaboratively with the client, their family, and their service coordinator
• Reliable, patient and enjoys an active lifestyle, such as: swimming, hiking, excursions and being busy
• Experience in direct support, special education or related field
• **Training will be provided in all applicable areas for each program**

Schedule is flexible, including weekday and weekend hours.
