An exciting opportunity is available for a Paraprofessional to support preschool students in an elementary school setting. This full-semester contract role is part-time, offering 26 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM. The position is located in Hollis, NH, at a primary school dedicated to providing an enriching educational experience to young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support in both intensive needs and general education preschool environments
- Utilize ABA training and behavioral management skills to assist students with special education needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt to any necessary classroom rearrangements
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment for all students
- Exhibit flexibility and professionalism in a dynamic school setting
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- Prior behavioral-based experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting
- Experience with ABA or related behavioral interventions is essential
- Comfort and competence in working with special education populations
- Reliable transportation to and from the school
- Ability to pass district/agency onboarding requirements, including district fingerprinting
- At least one completed reference required before candidate submission
