Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district in Nashua, NH is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support the educational and emotional development of its student population. This role involves collaboration with educators, parents, and students to provide comprehensive psychological services that enhance learning and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning needs and behavioral challenges
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Provide counseling and support services aimed at promoting positive social and emotional development
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive educational environments
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention strategies across the school community

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of New Hampshire
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Demonstrated experience conducting assessments and delivering intervention programs in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and psychological testing instruments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for a diverse school population
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively while traveling between school sites as needed
