Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Educational Technician certification, preferably Level 2 or Level 3
  • Experience working in behavioral settings, particularly with students prone to eloping
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide redirection and consistent support with an educational focus
  • Previous experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one support to students requiring behavioral interventions
  • Implement established behavior modification plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collaborate with educators and other support staff to create a prehensive support plan for students
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavioral data
  • Facilitate social skills development and promote positive interactions among students
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
