Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to specialize in special education across various grade levels within a school setting. The role supports students requiring tailored educational approaches to meet their individual learning needs from kindergarten to grade 12.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt general education curriculum to meet the diverse needs of learners in grades K-5 and 9-12.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to enhance student learning and well-being.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification with an endorsement or specialization in special education.
• Experience teaching special education students in either elementary (K-5) or secondary (9-12) grade levels.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Ability to use differentiated instruction techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
