Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A special education teaching opportunity is available within a K-12 public school setting located in Hillsborough, NH. This contract position starts as soon as possible and runs through June 12, 2026 (tentative last day), offering up to 37.5 hours per week dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs through virtual instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using NHSEIS for case management and evaluations.
• Collaborate remotely with teachers, parents, and service providers using digital platforms such as Canvas, Zoom, and district-specific tools.
• Utilize data and behavior-tracking systems like Panorama to assess student progress and inform instruction.
• Ensure compliance with New Hampshire special education laws and federal mandates, including IDEA.
• Apply expertise in behavioral supports and develop positive interventions for students with disabilities.
• Prepare observations and reports on student learning behaviors.
• Work closely with school staff, administrators, families, and community members to promote student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold all required New Hampshire state certifications for special education.
• Prior experience as a virtual case manager or special education teacher within NH.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, virtual delivery practices, and data management systems.
• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Ability to assess and support students with behavioral and affective disorders using positive behavioral approaches.
