Job Description

Job DescriptionRole:

To address minor issues relating to the upkeep and maintenance of the company facilities at all locations supplementing the general maintenance of cleaners and tradesmen when and where required.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

- Respond to daily maintenance needs in a Service Strategy fashion as directed by the Facilities Manager. Assist Facilities Manager by anticipating future needs to ensure all facilities are well-maintained. Work closely with Facilities Manager to define priorities. In the absence of the Facilities Manager responsibilities includes acting as manager of department orders supplies as needed.- Provide project oversight as directed by Facilities Manager to include construction projects, special orders, ATM/ITM maintenance, renovations, department expansions and other projects as needed.- Assist in removal of snow and ice from walks and snow and ice from walks and driveways. Provide back up coverage for the courier moving mail and various packages to the branches and the Post Office. Notifies management regarding needed repairs;- Conduct daily routine maintenance where applicable (general maintenance, electrical, bulbs, supplies, storage, disposal of equipment, etc.) Provide higher level support for construction and general maint.- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience
Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.

Education
(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal SkillsCourtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
