Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at a high school in Kingston, NH, supporting students in grades 9 through 12. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year, focusing on academic needs within the special education spectrum without behavioral responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering tailored instructional support to students with special education needs.
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that meet academic goals.
- Collaborating with general education staff and other specialists to enhance student learning.
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting accommodations as necessary.
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all applicable regulations.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with high school students in academic support roles.
