2nd Shift - 2pm-10pm

$47.00 Per Hour - +$5,000 sign on bonus

About the Role:

As a Refrigeration Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing ammonia-based refrigeration systems within a fast-paced frozen food manufacturing environment. You'll ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently, following IIAR, ASHRAE standards, and all applicable building codes and safety regulations.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate, inspect, and repair ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on compressors (ammonia and air), boilers, pumps, fans, HVAC units, and electrical controls.
• Conduct inspections to identify and troubleshoot malfunctions. Support capital refrigeration projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Test and maintain fire prevention and emergency response equipment.
• Assist with general building maintenance tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC/refrigeration, with a strong preference for ammonia system experience.
• A well-rounded technician comfortable with both hands-on work and the administrative/technical side of maintenance.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills—you’ll work with individuals of various backgrounds and skill sets.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage preventative maintenance schedules, and respond to urgent repairs effectively.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
