Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-semester contract opportunity seeks dedicated paraprofessionals to support K12 students in educational settings within the Derry, NH area. Two positions are available, each offering a rewarding environment to apply skills in supporting students with special needs.

Position 1 (Full Time):

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:35 AM to 3:10 PM (32.5 hours per week)
  • Location: Brookline, NH
  • Assignment: One-on-one support for a capable but easily distracted student at an academy setting

Position 2 (Part Time):

  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM (23 hours per week)
  • Location: Hollis, NH
  • Assignment: Support for a preschool student within both intensive needs and general education classrooms
  • Preferred experience: ABA training or experience working in applied behavior analysis

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience as a paraprofessional or in child-related roles within professional settings
  • Comfortable working with students in special education populations
  • Flexibility to adapt to classroom rearrangements when necessary
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Required district fingerprint clearance
  • Ability to pass district or agency onboarding procedures
  • Completion of at least one professional reference before submission
  • Willingness to participate in a Zoom interview

Responsibilities include providing attentive, individualized support to students, assisting educators in implementing educational plans, and contributing to a positive learning environment tailored to each students needs.
