Responsibilities
- Monitor, direct, and coordinate all activities concerned with the body shop and production workflow
- Provide overall leadership and direction to employees at the location
- Manage employees to include, scheduling, workload allocation, performance management, etc.
- Attract, train and retain talented team members
- Drive the business to achieve its objectives
- Develop, monitor, and report on performance metrics including revenue, profitability, and efficiency
- Build and grow customer base and relationships
- Follow up and respond to customer concerns in a professional, courteous, and prompt manner
- Communicate policies, procedures, and company/department goals to employees
- Assure compliance with safety protocols and procedures
- Demonstrate a high standard of professionalism in representing the Company to employees and customers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Body Shop Manager or other related management roles
- Must have knowledge of CCC
- Solid understanding of estimating process and system, body repairs, and paint procedures
- Knowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations
- Strong computer skills
- Process-focused, detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills
- Highly effective verbal and written communication
- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and employees.
- Valid Driver’s License
