Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position supports students in a K-12 school setting, providing one-on-one assistance to those with behavioral needs. The role requires a dedicated paraprofessional to work from 8:35 am to 3:10 pm with a commitment until June 17, 2026. The position is contract-based, starting as soon as possible, and located in Derry, NH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with behavioral challenges
- Assist teachers in creating a flexible and supportive classroom environment
- Adapt to classroom changes and student needs as they arise
- Maintain professional communication and collaboration with the educational team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Paraprofessional experience and/or child-related professional experience required
- Comfortable working with special education (SPED) populations
- High school diploma required
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- District fingerprint clearance and ability to pass agency onboarding processes
- One completed reference needed prior to placement
- Ability to participate in a Zoom interview
