A part-time paraprofessional opportunity is available to support a preschool student in a dynamic K-12 school setting. This contract position runs through the current school year, with a start date as soon as possible and concluding on June 17, 2026. The role involves working primarily in an intensive needs preschool classroom, as well as general education preschool environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to a preschool student with special education needs.
- Assist with classroom activities and learning objectives tailored to the students individualized plan.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to adapt instructional materials.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
- Be flexible to accommodate possible classroom rearrangements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma required.
- Experience as a paraprofessional or in child-related professional roles.
- ABA training or practical experience in Applied Behavior Analysis is essential.
- Comfortable working with special needs populations.
- Reliable transportation for commute to the workplace.
- Must pass district fingerprinting and agency onboarding requirements.
- One completed professional reference needed before submission.
- Availability for a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Monday to Thursday, approximately 23 hours per week.
- Working hours: 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM.
- Located at Hollis Primary School in Hollis, NH.
