Our Direct Client has a new Electrical Engineer job. This Position will require a strong focus on Hardware Design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing advanced electrical systems and hardware for our clients’ products.
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain electrical systems and hardware for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop requirements, specifications, and validation plans.
• Develop and maintain hardware schematics, layouts, and PCB designs.
• Design and develop system-level architecture for complex electrical systems.
• Conduct simulations and analyses to ensure optimal performance and reliability of hardware designs.
• Participate in design reviews, hardware reviews, and test plan reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems and hardware.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for electrical systems and hardware.
Qualifications
Qualifications
• At least 5 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on hardware design.
• Proficiency in hardware design tools such as OrCad.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware interfaces.
• Experience with signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management in hardware design.
• Proficiency in simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, or ANSYS.
• Experience with high-speed digital design and RF design.
• Knowledge of industry standards and compliance (e.g., IPC, ISO, CE, UL).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) principles.
• Experience with the PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) design process.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
