We are an Engineering and Construction company, offering design, management and consulting within the Industrial Power and Utilities space. Our team has been around for 30+ years, and continuing to grow. We are now looking to add another Sr Electrical Engineer to the mixture.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems and components for industrial applications. This position requires a strong background in power systems and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to define project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for electrical systems.
- Perform detailed calculations and simulations to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and components.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power and industrial systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, including transformers, motors, and protection systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IEEE and NEC.
- Experience with software tools such as ETAP and SKM for power system analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
