Residential Construction Superintendent is a full-time, exempt position that oversees the operations of a construction site, from planning to completion. The duties of a construction superintendent will vary, however, they can expect to be responsible for daily scheduling, supervising all activities and tasks, and ensuring the safety and compliance of the site.


· Meet with building owners/ tenants to discuss build-out specifications and improvements.

· Create estimates for build-out projects, including labor, supplies, materials and other ancillary costs.

· Maintain a daily job site log.

· Coordinate all construction services and activities.

· Maintain the schedule and budget; make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met.

· Leading and managing the on-site construction crew.

· Attending production meetings.

· Constant communication with their Project Manager.

· Ensuring quality standards are met.

· Placing orders for materials and being responsible for equipment and materials on site.

· Following the project timeline.

· Monitoring and ensuring on-site safety compliances. Also maintaining a safety/ injury log for each project.

· Maintain site cleanliness and orderliness.

· Keep detailed records for site personnel.

· Oversees all phases of project.

· This position requires some exposure to the elements, i.e. inclement weather, extreme heat or cold, wind, etc.

· This position requires little travel, mostly from jobsite to jobsite or jobsite to office.

· Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ambidextrous hand motions and ability to grip objects is a must.


Travel: Estimated at 15% or less

· Must have completed at least 5 high-end, custom residential projects prior.

· Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field;

· Minimum 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role

· Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites

· In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes


Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Procore, Sage Intacct, Bluebeam, etc.
