Job Description

InnoTECH Staffing is partnering with an innovative medical device company to hire a Lead or Senior Electrical Engineer for a cutting-edge product development program. This role is ideal for a highly autonomous engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and contributing across the full product lifecycle—from early concept through production.

You will play a key role in designing and delivering embedded electrical systems as part of a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering team.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Design and develop mixed-signal circuit boards (analog and digital) including schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, and DFx activities

  • Lead hands-on testing, debugging, and failure analysis of electrical systems; design test fixtures for development and production

  • Produce clear, concise technical documentation such as block diagrams, electrical requirements, design descriptions, and test procedures

  • Develop novel prototype devices using creative and innovative engineering approaches

  • Translate system-level requirements into detailed electrical specifications and architectures

  • Solve complex technical challenges using sound electronic design and integration principles

  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, systems, software, controls, and test engineers to support rapid development cycles

  • Ensure compliance with company design controls, documentation practices, and quality processes

  • Manage external design partners, vendors, and suppliers

  • Balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert and mentor junior engineers

Required Skills & Experience

  • BS in Electrical Engineering

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing complex electro-mechanical products

  • Proven experience designing electrical schematics and PCB layouts (Altium preferred)

  • End-to-end electrical design experience from concept through production

  • Strong background working on multi-disciplinary engineering teams

  • Skilled in developing and working with detailed specifications and technical documentation

  • Hands-on expertise debugging circuitry using lab equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, waveform generators, etc.)

  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers

  • Solid understanding of signal integrity, timing, power consumption, ESD, and EMC design

  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet aggressive schedules

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred / Plus Qualifications

  • Experience developing and characterizing novel sensor technologies

  • RF design and testing experience

  • Proficiency with analytical and automation tools (MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, etc.)

  • Embedded software development experience in C/C++ (ARM, PIC, AVR, or similar platforms)

  • Familiarity with medical device standards and regulations (IEC 60601-1, ISO 13485, etc.)

Compensation $130K to $165K base plus bonus and full benefits

This requires being onsite 5 days a week in Manchester, NH
