A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at a high school serving grades 9 through 12 in Kingston, NH. This role involves supporting the academic needs of students within the special education program, with a focus on personalized instruction and collaboration to enhance student learning and success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized academic support to high school students with disabilities.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to ensure inclusive instructional strategies.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to interventions as necessary.
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state special education regulations.
