Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 educational institution in Kingston, NH is seeking a licensed Social Worker, Counselor, or School Psychologist to support its high school Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD) population on a contract basis for the current school year. This part-time role offers approximately 20 hours per week spread over three days, working closely with a caseload of around 12 students to provide essential mental health and behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students with emotional and behavioral challenges
- Develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote a safe and supportive learning environment
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
- Track progress and maintain confidential records in compliance with district policies and regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Social Worker, Counselor, or School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with emotional and behavioral needs
- Strong understanding of behavioral interventions and counseling techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize responsibilities effectively
