We are looking for a Field Service Technician / Gas Fitter for an immediate hire opportunity in Hillsborough, NJ! If you are looking to continue your career within a professional technical position, with a well established bakery oven company, this is the ideal chance for you!
Schedule:
- 8:30am - 5:30pm
- Mon-Fri
Salary:
- $55,000 - 60,000/yr (starting)
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair gas lines, piping systems, and gas appliances for bakery equipment
- Test and replace faulty equipment
- Check for gas leaks
- Convert appliances to natural gas fuels
- Provide advice to clients on gas safety
- Respond to gas leak calls
- Assist with investigations of gas fires and explosions
Qualifications:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background preferred
- Gas license preferred
- Good customer service, and professional attitude
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
