Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education teaching position is available in Kingston, NH, serving middle and high school students in Life Skills classrooms. This contract opportunity offers a caseload working with students in grades 6 through 12, providing specialized instruction and support tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students in Life Skills classrooms.
Deliver differentiated instruction to accommodate varying learning abilities in both middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12) settings.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including parents and support staff, to ensure holistic student development.
Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal special education regulations.

Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification.
Experience working with middle and/or high school students in Life Skills or similar special education settings.
Strong knowledge of instructional strategies for students with diverse learning needs.
Effective communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage a full-time caseload with dedication and professionalism.

Location:Kingston, New Hampshire

Schedule:Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
