About the Role
The Interior Cleaning Team Leader plays a crucial role in maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming environments for clients, ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Delivery
- Supervise and lead a team of cleaning staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality performance.
- Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to crew members based on priorities and workload.
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaning work to ensure standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety are met.
- Provide feedback and coaching to crew members to improve performance and address any issues.
- Address client requests and concerns regarding cleaning services to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive image of the cleaning team and the organization.
- Perform general cleaning duties in clients' homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other living areas thoroughly.
- Organize and arrange items in accordance with clients' preferences.
- Change bed linens and provide laundry services when requested.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Equipment Management
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring the team has adequate resources to perform their duties.
- Request and order additional supplies as needed, following budgetary guidelines.
- Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all cleaning operations adhere to health and safety regulations, including properly handling hazardous materials.
- Promote safe working practices among team members and address any safety concerns immediately.
- Record Keeping
- Track and document completed jobs, including before-and-after photos of windows, siding, decking, and other cleaned surfaces, while maintaining accurate records of work performed, timesheets, job photos, and crew performance.
- Thoroughly inspect work areas for any pre-existing damage before starting a job, documenting concerns such as cracked glass, loose frames, pre-existing stains, pre-existing scratching, or fragile surfaces that may be affected by pressure washing.
- Seasonal Snow Removal
- Assist with snow removal duties (shoveling, plowing, salt/sand application) during the winter months as necessary.

- Crew Efficiency
- Team Clock Time Accuracy
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent and additional certification or training in cleaning procedures or management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a cleaning role, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred. - Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and proper cleaning techniques.
- A valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
- Perform physical tasks associated with cleaning.
- Standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods while cleaning.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 4:30 PM (Weekends and extended hours as needed)
