We’re hiring a full-time Senior Manager, Multifamily Lending for our Multifamily Housing Division.
As a Senior Manager, Multifamily Lending, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations which shape and guide our ability to contribute to our mission. In this role, you will:
- Foster a high-performing team culture through regular coaching conversations, active performance management, and targeted development opportunities while engaging and motivating team members to achieve individual and organizational goals through clear expectations and ongoing guidance.
- Administer the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program and maintain expertise in all major Multifamily financing programs offered by New Hampshire Housing. Lead the development, review, and revision of these financing programs and oversee Notices of Funding Opportunities.
- Exercise high level decision-making authority in the underwriting process, including project screening, scoring, and selection. Provide recommendations for tax credit and capital resource commitments. Communicate and support recommendations to senior management, the Board of Directors, and external stakeholders, including developers, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with the Business Operations team to establish and update Multifamily development policies, underwriting standards, and the Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP). Ensure all practices align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
For training purposes, the first six months of work will be in the office. Intermittent remote work available after that time.
Your experience, skills, and education should include:
- Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
- Basic proficiency in Windows Microsoft Office 365 Suite and ability to learn new software systems, as needed.
- Knowledge and understanding of State and Federal financing tools and resources that support the creation and preservation of Affordable Housing.
- Ability to review and analyze financial documents and budgets for underwriting projects.
- Demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience in financial services, accounting, or administration required.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Five years’ relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Starting Pay: $86,700 - $108,400, dependent on relevant experience
