Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Cable Production Supervisor job for our direct client in the Newington, NH. In this role, you will oversee daily operations within the cable production department, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality output, and adherence to safety and productivity standards. You will lead a team of production associates, manage scheduling, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement across processes and procedures.

Cable Production Supervisor Job Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing activities, ensuring quality and productivity targets are met.
• Communicate job expectations, monitor results, and provide coaching, counseling, and performance feedback.
• Resolve personnel and operational issues through data analysis, investigation, and problem-solving.
• Ensure proper training for employees on safety, equipment operation, and standard work procedures.
• Identify and address production bottlenecks to improve product flow and reduce downtime.
• Oversee schedule adherence while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and cost savings using lean manufacturing techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation for labor standards, training, and production results.
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations, promoting a culture of accountability and compliance.
• Support cross-training, job rotation, and resource planning to meet production demands.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing processes, and lean manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must be flexible to work any shift and report to work during inclement weather.
