Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School Psychologist opportunity is available to provide specialized psychological services for students in grades K-12 within a school setting. This contract position is based in Suncook, NH, and involves working directly with students, educators, and families to support academic success, social-emotional development, and behavioral health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students across grades K-12, identifying learning needs and social-emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being and academic performance.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute expert advice on educational strategies and behavioral interventions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with diverse student populations from grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills geared toward working with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with ethical and professional standards.
