Position Details:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract duration: Current school year
- Caseload includes students in grades 9 through 12
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students academic needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure students receive appropriate accommodations and modifications
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and administration regarding student development
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience working with high school students in grades 9-12
- Strong knowledge of academic interventions and instructional strategies for students with special needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
