We are a growing company seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technicians to join a great team. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety in various settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be able to work independently in the field, providing high-quality service to our clients.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration units.
- Diagnose issues with refrigeration equipment using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to build and design custom refrigeration solutions based on client needs.
- Operate a company van to travel to job sites, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to refrigeration systems and components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs or installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills in field service environments.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for van operation.
