Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a full-time Special Education Teacher supporting high school students in grades 9 through 12. This contract position offers an engaging role focused on addressing the academic needs of students without behavioral challenges. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized educational support to high school students with special education needs
• Collaborating with educators and staff to develop and implement effective academic plans
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to student success strategies

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with secondary-level students, specifically grades 9-12
• Strong understanding of academic interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere

This full-time role requires a 37.5-hour workweek, primarily focused on academic support within the charter school setting. The position is a contract assignment for the current school year.
