Support educational development in a K-12 school setting as a paraprofessional committed to enhancing student learning across multiple grade levels. This role offers the opportunity to engage closely with students, providing both one-on-one and classroom assistance in diverse academic environments.
Location: Dover, NH
Job Type: Contract, Current School Year (CSY)
Duration: ASAP through June 15, 2026
Schedule:
- High School: 7:30 AM 2:30 PM
- Middle School: 7:10 AM 2:10 PM
- Elementary School: 8:05 AM 3:05 PM
Weekly Hours: 32.5 hours
Positions Available:
- Approximately 3-4 roles at the high school level
- 2-3 roles at the middle school level
- 1-2 roles at the elementary school level
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized (1:1) support and assist within the classroom environment
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student educational goals
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning atmosphere
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proof of High School Diploma or GED required; higher education is a plus
- Ability to provide three professional references, including at least one recent supervisor
- Prior experience working with students in an educational setting preferred
