Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, contract Special Education teaching opportunity is available for a K-12 virtual case manager role in Claremont, NH, through June 12, 2026 (tentative). This position involves managing special education services in a virtual environment with up to 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using NHSEIS, the states electronic data system.
- Collaborate virtually with teachers, parents, and service providers via platforms like Canvas, Zoom, or district-specific tools.
- Utilize data and behavior-tracking systems such as Panorama to monitor and support student progress.
- Ensure compliance with New Hampshire special education laws and regulations (IDEA and state rules), including how virtual delivery impacts these requirements.
- Assess and support students with behavioral and affective disorders, providing positive behavioral interventions in both group and individual settings.
- Conduct observations and produce reports on student learning behaviors.
- Work closely with administrators, colleagues, central office staff, parents, and community members to enhance instructional effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Must hold all required New Hampshire state certifications for special education.
- Proven experience as a virtual case manager or special education teacher in New Hampshire.
- Strong understanding of special education principles, instructional strategies, and behavioral supports.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience navigating virtual collaboration platforms and data management systems.
Location: Claremont, New Hampshire (virtual work within the district).
