Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for a certified Special Education Teacher with experience supporting K-12 students through virtual platforms in New Hampshire. Located in Claremont, NH, this role offers the chance to work up to 37.5 hours per week from ASAP through June 12, 2026 (tentative), providing specialized instruction and behavioral support to students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using the NHSEIS system for case management, evaluations, and reporting.
- Collaborate virtually with teachers, parents, and service providers using digital platforms such as Canvas, Zoom, and iLearnNH.
- Utilize data and behavior-tracking tools like Panorama or district-specific systems to monitor student progress.
- Ensure compliance with federal (IDEA), state, and local special education laws and regulations, particularly regarding virtual service delivery.
- Apply knowledge of individual differences in ability, personality, and motivation to tailor instruction and behavioral supports.
- Assess and support students with behavioral and affective disorders through positive behavioral interventions in both group and individual settings.
- Conduct student observations and prepare detailed reports on learning behaviors.
- Collaborate effectively with administrators, colleagues, central office staff, families, and community members to support student success.
Required Qualifications:
- Must hold all required special education certifications for New Hampshire.
- Demonstrated experience as a virtual case manager or Special Education Teacher within New Hampshire.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Familiarity with NHSEIS, virtual collaboration tools, data-driven behavior tracking, and special education compliance.

Schedule: Full-time, up to 37.5 hours per week
