Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available for a contract through the current school year, located in Claremont, NH. This role requires a certified educator familiar with New Hampshires special education laws and experienced in virtual case management. The assignment runs from ASAP through approximately June 12, 2026, with up to 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using NHSEIS, the states data system for case management and evaluations.
  • Collaborate virtually with teachers, parents, and service providers using platforms such as Canvas and Zoom.
  • Utilize data and behavior-tracking tools like Panorama to monitor student progress.
  • Deliver instruction and positive behavioral support tailored to individual student needs.
  • Conduct observations and prepare reports on student learning behaviors.
  • Ensure compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and virtual delivery requirements.
  • Work effectively with administrators, colleagues, parents, and community members to support student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must meet all New Hampshire state certification requirements for special education.
  • Demonstrated experience as a virtual case manager in New Hampshires special education system.
  • Strong understanding of instructional strategies and behavioral supports for students with disabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across virtual platforms.
