Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available in Claremont, NH, serving K-12 students in a contract role through June 2026. This position is ideal for educators with experience in New Hampshires virtual special education programs, focusing on supporting students with diverse learning needs in both individual and group settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using NHSEIS, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local special education regulations.
  • Collaborate virtually with teachers, parents, and service providers utilizing platforms such as Canvas, Zoom, and iLearnNH tools.
  • Use data management and behavior-tracking systems like Panorama to monitor student progress effectively.
  • Assess and support students exhibiting behavioral and affective disorders, applying positive behavioral support strategies.
  • Conduct observations and generate reports related to student learning behaviors.
  • Work closely with school administrators, colleagues, families, and community members to foster student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold all required New Hampshire state certifications for Special Education.
  • Prior experience as a New Hampshire virtual special education case manager is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of IDEA and NH special education laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
  • Familiarity with virtual education delivery and compliance considerations.

Location: Claremont, New Hampshire
Schedule: Up to 37.5 hours per week
Term: Contract through approximately June 12, 2026
