Location: Contoocook, NH
Schedule: Monday through Friday – 8 hours days
Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $35.00/hourPosition Summary
The Estimator works closely with customers and the sales team to review project requirements and generate accurate quotes. This role will specialize in either CNC or Sheet Metal estimating, ensuring estimates are timely, precise, and aligned with customer expectations and company standards.Key Responsibilities
- Review proposals, blueprints, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Identify labor, material, and time requirements by analyzing project documentation
- Calculate total costs based on labor, materials, and other relevant factors
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in specifications and documents
- Compile and present estimates with detailed numerical and descriptive data
- Create special reports by analyzing and summarizing data and trends
- Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Complete required training, including GD&T and blueprint reading
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and support company goals
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- Ability to translate customer needs into detailed RFQs
- Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs across various time zones
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of estimating experience (preferably in manufacturing)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with CAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software
- Experience with quote software and CRM platforms is a plus

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per year
