Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time paraprofessional position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Nashua, NH. This role focuses on providing support to preschool students both in an intensive needs classroom and a general education setting, requiring expertise in working with special education populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in classroom activities for preschool students, supporting both intensive needs and general education classrooms.
- Apply ABA training or experience to support individualized educational plans.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to create a flexible and responsive learning environment.
- Adapt to potential classroom rearrangements and varied educational needs.
- Maintain professional communication and adhere to district policies during onboarding.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma required.
- Paraprofessional and/or child-related experience in a professional educational or therapeutic setting.
- Demonstrated ability and comfort in working with special education populations.
- ABA training or related experience strongly preferred.
- Reliable transportation essential.
- Ability to provide at least one professional reference.
- Successful completion of district fingerprints and onboarding procedures.
Position Details:
- Work schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM (23 hours per week).
- Contract duration: ASAP start through June 17, 2026.
- Location: Preschool classrooms in Hollis, NH.
- One opening available.
- Interview process includes a Zoom meeting.
