A respected construction management firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee heavy civil construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in field leadership, project scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance, with the ability to deliver exceptional results on every project.
This position is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, ensures projects stay on schedule and within budget, and can lead by example-whether coordinating subcontractors or stepping in with the trades when needed.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise all daily field operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.

Develop and implement field solutions using extensive hands-on construction knowledge.

Conduct regular site inspections to uphold quality control and compliance with OSHA safety regulations.

Manage subcontractors and labor teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and accountability.

Oversee project budgeting and cost control, maintaining financial discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

Maintain transparent communication with project stakeholders regarding progress, milestones, and challenges.

Enforce and promote safety protocols, ensuring a safe, compliant, and productive jobsite.

Lead by example-jump in and work alongside the trades when needed to maintain schedules and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Superintendent, Construction Manager, or similar leadership role in heavy civil or general construction.

Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and blueprint interpretation.

Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA standards and on-site safety best practices.

Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and subcontractors effectively.

Analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to read plans and develop on-site solutions.

Experience with pipeline projects is highly desirable.

Outstanding communication skills to collaborate with field teams, project owners, and other stakeholders.
