STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Material Planner to join the team.
Under the general direction of the Purchasing Manager, this position is responsible the flow of goods and services to assure on time delivery and customer satisfaction. Internally schedules and coordinated material release and flow between departments. Material Planners are responsible for products from supplier to stock room. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Input and maintain material delivery schedules
- Review SCM schedules with suppliers
- Update supplier comments as needed
- Verify delivery schedules meet MPS
- Suggest MPS revisions if materials cannot meet MSP demand
- Communicate shortages and anticipated problems with production planners
- Accurately and timely enter daily receipts of goods and services in database
- Expedite deliver of goods and services as needed
- Participate in all meetings are required
- Assist with physical inventory
- Conduct on-site vendor visits
- Assist with quality corrective actions and supplier related issues
- Liaison between suppliers, purchasing, finance, production, and quality
- Manage and report metrics
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE
- One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
