Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education teaching position is available for a dedicated professional to serve K-9 students in a supportive school environment located in Kingston, NH. This contract role, running through the current school year, involves managing a caseload at a K-12 school with a focus on small group instruction in reading, writing, and math.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as Case Manager for approximately 12-14 students at a charter academy serving K-9 grades.
- Delivering individualized special education services to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborating with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective education plans.
- Monitoring student progress and adapting instructional strategies to foster academic growth.
- Maintaining thorough and accurate educational records and documentation.
Qualifications and skills desired:
- Valid certification in Special Education for K-12.
- Experience in case management within a school setting.
- Ability to work effectively with small groups and tailor instruction to individual student needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
