Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed mental health professional is needed for a contract position providing counseling services at an elementary school setting in the Nashua, NH area. This opportunity is ideal for a Licensed Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist eager to contribute to a supportive educational environment.

Location: Nashua, NH (Elementary School)
Job Type: Contract, CSY (Contract School Year)
Hours: 20 hours per week, 3 days per week
Caseload: Approximately 12 students, focusing on a high school Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD) population

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, or School Psychologist (Statements of Eligibility not accepted)
  • Experience working with students diagnosed with emotional and behavioral disorders preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team
  • Strong communication and counseling skills tailored to youth and educational settings

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, counseling, and intervention services to students with emotional and behavioral needs
  • Develop individualized support plans to foster students social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Consult with educators, parents, and administrators to promote a positive and inclusive school climate
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant regulatory and reporting requirements
