Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral needs within a K-12 educational setting. The role requires working closely with students to assist with their academic and social development while supporting individualized education plans in a supportive and flexible environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated one-on-one support to students with behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement classroom strategies
- Assist in maintaining a positive and safe learning environment
- Adapt to changes in classroom arrangements as needed
- Support special education (SPED) students effectively
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior paraprofessional and/or child-related experience in a professional setting
- Comfortable working with special education population
- Must have at least one completed reference available before placement
- Reliable transportation for daily commute
- Successful completion of district fingerprinting and onboarding processes
- Ability to participate in a Zoom interview
