This part-time paraprofessional position supports preschool students in an elementary school setting, working both in intensive needs and general education classrooms. The role requires a compassionate individual with behavioral expertise and a flexible approach to classroom environments.
Position Details:
- Location: Hollis, NH (Hollis Primary School)
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 2:50 PM (26 hours/week)
- Duration: Full semester contract, starting ASAP through June 17, 2026
- Openings: 1
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to preschool students, including those with special education needs
- Implement behavior-based strategies and assist with classroom activities
- Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure a positive learning environment
- Adapt to classroom changes as needed
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma required
- Prior behavioral experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting
- ABA training or experience is essential
- Comfortable working with the special education population
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to pass district fingerprinting and onboarding procedures
- At least one professional reference completed prior to placement submission
