Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Metal Finishing Operator to join their team. As a Metal Finishing Operator, you will be part of the production team supporting quality assurance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow procedures which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Metal Finishing Operator
Location: Lincoln, NH
Pay Range: $20.44 plus 2nd and 3rd shift differentaiabls
Shift: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift
What's the Job?
- Load and unload tote pans of parts and stack parts in baskets, racks, and barrels.
- Follow prescribed procedures for processing metal finishing operations.
- Maintain cleanliness of tanks and work areas while monitoring solution temperatures.
- Physically inspect processing to ensure the quality of the product.
- Record daily production logs and assist with troubleshooting simple to moderate problems.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED; or equivalent related experience and/or training.
- Basic understanding of chemistry as it applies to the job.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
- Strong mathematical skills to perform basic calculations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
