Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school located in the Derry, New Hampshire area. This position involves covering a leave of absence and will run from February 10, 2025, through June 16, 2026. The role requires an experienced professional dedicated to supporting elementary students with special education needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized instruction and behavioral support to elementary students with special education needs.
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create inclusive learning environments.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state regulations.
Maintain accurate records and progress reports on student performance and support strategies.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active New Hampshire Special Education license.
Valid teaching license in New Hampshire.
Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting.
Commitment to onsite, full-time work schedule, Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week.
